The Ranchi Municipal Corporation has fast-tracked plans to build walkways, shelter homes (ashrayagriha) and labour sheds on land recently cleared of encroachments. Administrator Sushant Gaurav has introduced several new schemes aimed at improving cleanliness and beautification across the city. Anti-encroachment drives are being carried out daily, and the cleared spaces are now being earmarked for organised development.

According to officials, walkways and green patches will be created at select locations, while larger stretches along major roads will be converted into parking spaces. Some areas will also see the development of vending zones and Shramik Samman Sthals (labour sheds). Boundary walls are being constructed to protect the reclaimed land.
