Surajkund Mela 2025: The Surajkund International Crafts Mela is a highly anticipated annual event that has begun in Surajkund, Faridabad, Haryana. The 38th edition of this vibrant festival promises to be a magnificent showcase of India's cultural richness with over 1,000 stalls presenting an extensive collection of handicrafts, textiles and artworks from across the nation. 

People will have the chance to enjoy a variety of live performances including traditional dances and music which highlight the country’s diverse artistic traditions. The Surajkund Mela offers a delightful culinary experience, featuring a multi-cuisine food court that presents authentic dishes from various regional kitchens. 

A special highlight of this year’s event is the Heritage Craft Area, designed to preserve and promote endangered traditional crafts. Here, visitors can observe skilled artisans in action, learn about age-old techniques and engage in hands-on workshops that help protect India’s invaluable cultural heritage.

  • Timings: 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM daily

Surajkund Mela 2025: Tickets

  • Weekdays (Monday to Friday): INR 120 per person
  • Weekends (Saturday and Sunday): INR 180 per person

How To Get Tickets

  • Online: Tickets can be booked through the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) mobile app.
  • Metro Stations: Select Delhi Metro stations will have ticket sales counters for the mela.
  • On-Site: Tickets will also be available at the venue gates and special counters at key entry points.

How To Reach

The nearest metro station is Badarpur (Violet Line). From there, visitors can reach the fair site via auto or cab. The distance from Delhi to Surajkund is approximately 23 km which can be covered by private vehicle or bus. Haryana Roadways and DTC buses are available from Delhi, Gurgaon and Faridabad to the fair site.
