Shinde has been suffering from a throat infection and fever since last week. Upon leaving the hospital, Shinde addressed media questions about his health, stating, "Badhiya hai [all good]."
The Shiv Sena leader had travelled to his native village in Satara district last Friday, fueling speculation about his dissatisfaction with the formation of the new government. He reportedly developed a high fever during this period.

Amid Shinde's ongoing health concerns, preparations are in full swing at Mumbai's Azad Maidan for the swearing-in ceremony of the new Mahayuti government in Maharashtra on December 5. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to attend the high-profile event.
While BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis is widely considered the frontrunner for the Chief Minister's post, the Mahayuti alliance has yet to officially announce the nominee. The state BJP legislature party is set to meet on December 4 to finalize the decision.
