Mumbai Cha Raja First Look: After the first look of Mumbai's iconic Lalbaugcha Raja was unveiled on Thursday, the Ganeshgalli Mandal at Lalbaug took off the curtains and gave us the first glimpse of the famous Mumbai Cha Raja. The visuals from the first darshan of Bappa revealed him holding a Rudra mala in one hand and showering blessings with the other.
Mumbai Cha Raja held the heavenly conch and a bilva leaf in his other two hands. The Bilva leaf represented that Bappa worshipped his father, Lord Shiva.

The Mumbaicha Raja in Ganesh Galli is a famous spot, only a few lanes away from the Lalbaugcha Raja. This year marks the 97th Ganeshotsav for this popular pandal, which was founded in 1928.
Every year, thousands of devotees attend Mumbai's Ganpati temples to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi. This year the festivity will be celebrated from September 7 to September 17.
