Mumbai Road Accident: A 27-year-old woman lost her life after she was hit by a speeding car in Mumbai’s Malad on Tuesday night. The accused driver took the woman to the hospital, where the doctors declared her dead. The Mumbai Police has arrested the accused driver and registered a case against him under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Motor Vehicles Act.

The police have reportedly seized the vehicle involved in the accident and are conducting further investigations to determine the exact cause of the incident.
In another incident that took place in Mumbai, at least three people lost their lives and three others sustained injuries after the car they were travelling in lost control, overturned twice, and collided with a stationary tanker in the Chembur area on Saturday night. The deceased in the incident were identified as 23-year-old Harichandan Das, 35-year-old Pramod Prasad, and 40-year-old Hussain Shaikh.
Earlier, the Pune Porsche accident gripped the nation in which the 17-year-old boy, son of Pune-based real estate developer Vishal Agarwal, rammed a high-end Porsche Taycan into a motorcycle near the Kalyani Nagar area of the city, leading to the immediate deaths of two young IT professionals identified as Ashwini Koshta and Aneesh Awadhia, both from Madhya Pradesh.
Following the Pune Porsche crash incident, another incident came to light in Mumbai where the 24-year-old son of a Shiv Sena politician Rajesh Shah was arrested after he allegedly rammed his BMW into a two-wheeler, leading to the death of 45-year-old Kaveri Nakhwa. He was arrested 72 hours after the incident and the police believe the mother and sisters helped him to evade arrest.
