Gita Jayanti 2025: Significance
More than being a sacred scripture, the Bhagavad Gita presents a lasting philosophy about how to live. It is the divine lesson Krishna taught Arjuna on the Kurukshetra battlefield during the Mahabharata war. The Gita covers the main points of karma, gyan, and bhakti yoga. It encourages people to let go of attachment, fear, and ignorance. It also pushes them to do their duties without expecting anything in return. The Gita explains that the soul is immortal and that dharma is essential. Gita Jayanti is a special time when followers can bring the Gita’s teachings into their daily routines for spiritual cleansing and salvation.
