China Masters 2025: India's star men's doubles duo of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty finished as the runner-up during a BWF World tour event for the second consecutive time, as they had lost to the world no.1 pair of Kim Won-ho and Seo Seung-jae during the China Masters Super 750 summit clash on Sunday. Korea's Kim and Seo, who are also the defending world champions, had beaten the eighth-seeded Indian pair by 21-19, 21-15 in a match that went on for 45 minutes.

But the Korean's left-right combination made a brilliant comeback and scored six straight points and were able to reduce the deficit. Since the momentum had shifted on their side, they did win the first game.
The second game became a close-fought affair as the Koreans had a huge lead till the mid-game interval. The scores were leveled at 11-11 and after that Kim and Seo scored four consecutive and thus stopped the Indians from winning the trophy.
