TAIWANESE laptop maker Acer has launched the Aspire 5 gaming laptop that draws power from the latest 13th Gen Intel Core i5 chip paired with GeForce RTX 2050 GPU in the thin and light machine. If you are planning to buy a gaming laptop in the sub-Rs 70,000 price bracket, here is a price and specs overview of the newly launched laptop.
Acer Aspire 5 Gaming Laptop Specifications
The gaming machine sports a 14-inch IPS screen with an aspect ratio of 16:10 and a display resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. It has a viewing angle of 170 degrees. The laptop weighs 1.57 grams and has metal construction for ease of travel and enhanced durability.
Under the hood, the laptop has an Intel Core i5-1335U chip with two performance and eight efficiency cores with a clock speed of up to 4.6 GHz and 3.4 GHz, according to The Indian Express. For gaming performance, it sports a 4GB GeForce RTX 2050. The graphic GPU has NVIDIA DLSS and NVIDIA Optimus to offer high refresh rates and optimise battery life while gaming and video editing.
Coming to memory, the machine has 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB internal storage. As for connectivity, it boasts Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, a USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4 for faster data transfers and power external displays. The HDMI 2.0 port support 8K video output.
Moreover, it has a 50Wh battery that supports 65W charging to offer decent backup and speedy charging. For video calls, the laptop sports an FHD web camera.
Acer Aspire 5 New Gaming Laptop Price
The laptop is priced at Rs 70,990 in India and will be available on Acer's official channels, Croma, Amazon and Vijay Sales, according to reports.
"With Aspire 5, we have encapsulated high-performance components within a thin and sleek chassis, providing our customers with an optimal gaming experience that can be easily carried anywhere," Sudhir Goel, Chief Business Officer, Acer India, said during the launch, as per IANS.
