JE Technology Desk: California-headquartered tech maker ViewSonic launched its OMNI VX28 monitors lineup in India that will be available for purchase during Amazon Prime Day Sale. From pro gamers to business workers, these displays can cater to a wide range of users. It sports features such as AMD and VESA-certified anti-tearing and anti-blur technologies and a blue light filter.

The gaming monitors are approved by "AMD FreeSync Premium, VESA Adaptive Sync, and VESA ClearMR," according to the press release. These technologies ensure that a user experiences no visual tearing, control stuttering, and minimise input lag for an immersive experience during gaming. It also ensures smoother graphics in first-person shooting (FPS) and role-playing games (RPG).

ViewSonic OMNI VX28 Series Gaming Monitors Specifications

ViewSonic OMNI VX28 monitors come with a 180Hz refresh rate and a 0.5ms response time to reduce motion blur and smearing. The displays are available in two screen sizes: 24-inch to 27-inch, and a total of four configurations. OMNI VX28 monitors offer a choice of FHD or QHD fast In-Plane Switching (IPS) monitors and 104 per cent sRGB coverage.

These displays support HDR10 to offer viewers clarity, deep contrast, and vibrant colours. The design of the monitor lets users adjust the height, tilt it back or forward, swivel it for a different field of view, or rotate it vertically. As for ports, the machines have two HDMI ports, one display 1.4 port and a headphone jack.

"We developed ViewSonic's OMNI gaming product line to meet the demands of casual gamers who want a display that is both versatile and multifunctional. We have integrated essential features for smooth gaming, productive work, and all-day eye care into the OMNI VX28 series," said Sanjoy Bhattacharya, Director - Sales and Marketing - IT Business, ViewSonic India. Bhattacharya adds that the monitors will allow users to enjoy games "while maintaining comfort and productivity".
