After iOS 17, Android 14 is one of the highly anticipated software operating systems which will be coming this year. The operating system, which was announced at Google IO 2023, is said to roll out with a slew of features. In a new update, the report claims that Google may introduce Android 14 along with its Pixel and Pixel 8 Pro event. However, the California-based technology giant has not confirmed it.
According to the Canadian carrier Telus, the Android 14 release date is mentioned as October 4, which is the same as the Pixel 8 series debut. The report further suggests that all the Pixel smartphones will be getting the Android 14 OS.
Android U is the name of the update which is Android Upside Down Cake, and is internally codenamed as Android 14OS. Do note that Google has not confirmed anything specific about the Android 14 arrival but it may make a big announcement in the next two days.

1. Magic Composer: Android 14 will come up with a new AI-powered Magic Composer which will offer suggestions to replies, tell the context of the messages and even rephrase the whole composition.
2. Find My Device: The Find My Device will also get a major update and will be working with a bigger range like headphones, tablets, and more and even help them keep track of the devices.
3. Lock Screen Customisation: Users will now get an option to customise their lock screens, clocks and more the way they want.
4. New Wallpapers: The all-new wallpapers will allow users to transform any photo into a 3D image with motion effects which can be used as the background.
