Android 15 Leaks: Google launched the Pixel 9 series at its Made By Google 2024 event in August 2024. While the company remained tight-lipped on the release of the new Android, it seems the version is now gearing up for a release next month. According to a release note spotted by Android Authority, the Android Beta Exit update release note confirmed that users can ignore the OTA till "Android 15 is available in October".
Android 15 Release Set For October: Report
Citing sources, the report noted the Android 15 update could start rolling out in the middle of October. However, a precise timeline is not available at the moment. Based on the rumours, we can expect the release in the second or early third week. However, readers must take the details with a pinch of salt as the release might shift to the first week or get delayed to the fourth or last week as the tech giant declined to confirm Android Authority's report.

In a release note concerning Google's "Android Beta Exit with Data Wipe" update, the message said: "If you are waiting for the Android 15 stable update, please ignore this OTA till Android 15 is available in October." Android 15 stable update will be available for the Pixel 6a, Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 8a, Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, Pixel 9 Pro Fold, Pixel Tablet and Pixel Fold. The update is expected to bring a range of new enhancements and features with the update.
