Apple iPhone 15 series, which is expected to make its global debut later this year, is one of the most hot topics in the tech industry. There are a series of speculations, rumours, and leaks, that are currently getting noticed. In a new update, the rumour mill has suggested that the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro may get a new exclusive colour.

According to a 9To5Mac report, the iPhone 15 Pro will get a new crimson colour option. The report cited a tipster who posted details about the new colour on the Chinese social media platform Weibo. Further, the report suggests the smartphone will come up with a dark colour shade while the iPhone 15 may get a green shade which will be somewhat similar to iPhone 12 and iPhone 11’s green colour. However, the company has not made any official statement about the same.

When Will iPhone 15 series launch?

According to the company's prior launch schedule, the highly anticipated iPhone 15 series would be launched in September of this year. However, if the company is experiencing manufacturing challenges, the event may be moved to October, according to the report.

Apple iPhone 15 Series Specifications

Apple is expected to follow the strategy and offer the Apple Bionic A16 chipset that powers the iPhone 14 Pro models to the vanilla trims, while the top-end variations are likely to be powered by the Apple Bionic A17 chip, which will be the company's latest and premium offering. With this, the California-based technology company will be able to offer its flagship at comparatively low pricing.

In terms of optics, all iPhone 15 series devices are rumoured to have a 48 MP primary shooter. If the reports are correct, the series will be a big improvement over its predecessor. Furthermore, LiDAR technology is projected to be confined to Pro models. Similarly, Apple is likely to include a periscope lens with 6x optical magnification, as well as other sensors.
