Apple is preparing for yet another big release this week after a busy autumn that has already seen the iPhone 17 range, iPhone Air, AirPods Pro 3 and the latest Apple Watch models arrive. As per reports, the company will miss an in-person audience when it reveals details of this new product via online, following the recent trend of digital announcements.

The Star of the Show: M5 iPad Pro

The most exciting of them all from this week’s roster will likely be the new M5 iPad Pro. This is another level of the tablet and it will be based on Apple’s new M5 chip which provides it with a performance boost significant enough compared to its predecessor. Created for professionals and casual users, the M5 iPad Pro is rumored to feature faster processing speed, improved multitasking capabilities and power consumption — ensuring it’s one of the most advanced tablets available.

A Better Vision Pro Experience

Apple Vision Pro may soon receive an upgrade with faster processing power and more comfortable strap, to address some of its predecessor's shortcomings. These upgrades demonstrate how Apple continues to advance mixed reality headset technology for improved usability and comfort.

MacBook Pro Joins the Lineup

At Apple's event this week, focus was primarily on three primary devices; however, many highly anticipated products are in development as well. Apple has recently unveiled the AirTag, HomePod mini and Apple TV set-top box prototypes; none are expected to launch anytime soon; additionally they plan to unveil new iPad Air, entry-level iPad, M5 MacBook Air lineup and iPhone 17e before next year - likely alongside two additional external monitors which may indicate further hardware updates in 2018. 

What’s Not Expected This Week

For this week’s event, it was mostly about three primary devices, although there are several other hotly anticipated products in the pipeline. Apple is also working on a new AirTag, HomePod mini and Apple TV set-top box, but none are expected to launch now. Additionally, the company also plans to announce new iPad Air, entry-level iPad, M5 MacBook Air lineup and iPhone 17e early next year. Apple is rumored to also be developing two new external monitors, suggesting more hardware updates will follow soon.
