A new report from DigiTimes reveals that Apple’s current Watch lineup is selling 10% better than expected, and the company is already preparing major improvements for the Apple Watch Series 11 and Watch Ultra 3, set to launch in 2025.

Health Features Take Centre Stage

Supply chain analysts anticipate that one of the key features of future models will be blood pressure detection. This feature focuses on recognising irregular trends and alerting when abnormalities are discovered, rather than providing exact readings.

DigiTimes notes that blood glucose monitoring could also become part of this market; however, its introduction still faces regulatory barriers, technical difficulties and patent disputes that make its launch uncertain.

More Sensors, Better Performance

Apple Watch models of the future are expected to incorporate twice as many sensors as current models, according to reports. Although specific sensors remain undisclosed, such an arrangement would allow devices to rely more on raw sensor data than on algorithmic predictions.

This move could result in:

  • Improved health tracking accuracy
  • Better battery efficiency
  • Overall performance boosts

Redesign on the Horizon

DigiTimes reports that Apple may also be planning a major redesign of their 2025 Apple Watch lineup. Details remain scarce, but the change could mark one of the more substantial design updates in recent memory.

Apple Watch Series 11 and Ultra 3 could soon become Apple's most advanced wearables ever. Their sales growth combined with new features may push Apple beyond any previous competition in wearable technology.
