boAt is shifting gears with the Aavante Prime X. This is not just another soundbar launch. It feels like a deliberate move into a more serious home audio space.

The company is calling it its first truly wireless soundbar, and the focus is clear. Deliver a full surround sound setup without turning your room into a wiring project.

Price And Availability

The Aavante Prime X starts at Rs. 37,999 for the first two days, after which it goes up to Rs. 39,999. It will be available through the official boAt website, Amazon, Flipkart, and retail stores across India.

More Than Just Big Numbers

Yes, the specs are strong. You get a 7.1.4 channel setup with Dolby Atmos, up firing drivers, and a claimed 700W peak output.

But what actually makes this interesting is how the system is designed to be used in real homes.

Wireless Rear Speakers That Actually Matter

The satellite speakers can be detached and placed around your room when you want a proper surround effect. When you are done, they attach back to the main unit.

This removes a lot of the usual friction that comes with home theatre systems. No fixed placement, no extra wiring, and no complicated setup.

Each speaker packs a 4,500mAh battery. boAt claims up to 12 hours of playback with Dolby Atmos via HDMI, and up to 14.5 hours under standard conditions. For non Dolby content, the playback is rated at up to 7 hours.

Hardware And Audio Setup

The system includes an 8 inch subwoofer and multiple 2.25 inch drivers across the soundbar and satellite units. The frequency response ranges from 20Hz to 20kHz, covering both deep bass and higher detail.

You also get dedicated modes for movies, music, sports, and gaming, which should make switching between content simpler.

Connectivity Options

Connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.3, HDMI eARC, USB, optical input, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. That gives it compatibility across TVs, consoles, and mobile devices without much effort.

What This Means For boAt

The Aavante Prime X does not feel like a one off product. It looks like boAt testing how far it can push into the premium segment.

If this clicks with users, this category could become a much bigger focus for the brand going forward.
