Flipkart Summer Sale 2026: Flipkart is gearing up for its Summer Sale in India starting May 9, and this time, it’s not just about one category. The platform is going wide with deals across smartphones, laptops, ACs, TWS earbuds, speakers, washing machines, and more. But let’s be honest, the real spotlight is already on smartphones.
With the sale landing just a day after Amazon Great Summer Sale kicks off, this is shaping up to be a full-blown price war between platforms. And if you’re planning to upgrade your phone, this overlap might actually work in your favour.

Smartphone Deals Are Already Heating Up
Flipkart has started teasing early bird offers, and some of the price cuts are already live. Leading the list is the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion, expected to drop to Rs. 24,999 from Rs. 26,999. Not a massive cut, but enough to make it more tempting in the mid-range space.
The Motorola Edge 60 Pro is also getting a price shave, landing at Rs. 27,999, while the more budget-focused Moto G06 Power will be available for Rs. 9,499.
Flipkart isn’t just relying on one brand either. Phones from Samsung, Google, Vivo, Nothing, Oppo, Realme, and Poco are all part of the mix.
For example, the Oppo K14 5G is teased at Rs. 17,999, while the Oppo K14x 5G could go for Rs. 14,499, small cuts on paper, but they start adding up when combined with bank offers.
The Real Savings Come From Stacking Offers
If you’ve shopped during Flipkart sales before, you already know the base discount is just step one. The bigger savings usually come from stacking offers.
This time, buyers can get up to 10 percent instant discount using SBI credit cards, especially on EMI transactions. There’s also a 5 percent cashback for Flipkart SBI card users, capped at Rs. 1,000 on non-EMI and Rs. 1,500 on EMI purchases.
Add exchange offers, UPI discounts, and SuperCoin benefits into the mix, and the “effective price” can drop quite a bit lower than what’s listed.
Early Access And Timing Advantage
Flipkart Black and Plus members will get 24-hour early access, which matters more than it sounds. The best deals, especially on popular models, tend to go out of stock fast.
And with Amazon entering the race a day earlier, comparing prices across both platforms could be the smartest move before hitting buy.
