GOOGLE IO 2023: Google at its annual developer conference has announced a variety of new products with AI being the highlight of it. From Bard AI for the public in almost over 180 countries to announcing the mid-range Pixel 7a smartphone, the company has announced pretty much-unexpected things.

During the two-hour-long event, CEO Sundar Pichai explained the importance of generative AI and how it can change the way search and businesses work. If in case you have missed out on the Google IO 2023 event, here are a few key takeaways:

1. AI For Google Workspace:

Google has now announced the AI integration of Google Workspace, which includes Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, and other applications. With this move, the company hopes to make it easier for users to complete tasks such as creating data sheets, presentations, essays, and articles.

2. Google BardAI Waitlist:

The company has also announced that the Bard AI waitlist has been removed, and the services are now available to all users in 180 countries. Furthermore, the company has stated that Bard AI will support 40 languages.

3. Google Maps Immersive Views:

Google has also announced Immersive views for select cities such as Tokyo and New York, which will be available this summer. It will feature bike lanes, traffic, and other features.

4. PaLM 2:

Google has also announced the most recent update to its large language model, which is smarter, more secure, and faster. The company hopes that by making this change, it will be able to provide better support for creating content, codes, and other things.

5. Bard Gets Smarter:

The Bard is now available to the general public and will be available in over 40 languages. According to Google's official statement, it also understands 20 programming languages and Excel sheet functionality. Furthermore, the company has collaborated with Adobe to improve its art generation capabilities.

6. Smart Search:

Google Search has received two major updates, one of which is the experimental conversational mode and the about this image feature. Both add-ons will assist users in obtaining answers to their queries and complex questions, including the products they wish to purchase.

7. Find My Device And Unknown Activity Tracker:

Google has introduced Find My Device along with the unknown tracker device, which will alert users if any device is tracking the user's location due to some Apple AirTag privacy concerns.

8. WearOS:

The company has also confirmed that users will be able to use WhatsApp on their smartwatches with the updated WearOS in the near future. Improved battery life and functionality, as well as new accessibility features such as text-to-speech, have been added.

9. Generative AI Wallpapers:

After this fall, Android users will be able to describe their vision by responding to suggested prompts. Using Google's text-to-image diffusion models, the feature will generate new, unique wallpapers, and the colour scheme of your Android device will be set to match the wallpaper you've selected.

10. Pixel 7a, Pixel Fold, And Pixel Tablet:

Last but not least, the company has introduced the mid-range Pixel 7a, a successor to the Pixel 6a, as well as the first-ever foldable smartphone Pixel Fold and the first-ever tablet Pixel tablet.
