Pixel 9 Series Leaks: Google is expected to unveil four Pixel smartphones this year in October. While we are months away from a possible launch, the rumour mill has already leaked a range of details, such as the key specifications and design of the phones. Ahead of the release, the rumour mill managed to leak the benchmarks of the devices. All these smartphones may arrive with an upgraded Tensor chip.

According to Rozetked, these devices will likely run on the same Tensor G4 processor. All models could get the same chipset configuration. This chip may have one Cortex-X4 chipset (3.1 GHz), three Cortex-A720 (2.6 GHz) and four Cortex-A520 (1.95 GHz) cores. It could have one less core than the current Tensor G3 chipset. The eight-core CPU could offer higher frequencies.

Pixel 9 Series Benchmark Results (Leaked)

As per the report, the Pixel 9 (codenamed Tokay) reportedly scored 1.07 million (10,71,616) points on AnTuTu. The Pixel 9 Pro (Caiman) and Pixel 9 Pro XL (Komodo) could score 1.14 million (11,48,452) and 1.17 million (11,76,410) points on the benchmarking platform. For context, the Google Pixel 8 scores about 8.77 lakh points, which could imply a minor upgrade in performance than the previous generation.

According to 9to5Google, the Cortex-X4 could imply a 15 per cent performance boost and 40 per cent better efficiency. The A510 and A720 could be roughly 20 per cent more power efficient. As for the benchmark scores, readers should note the processor and software will likely be optimised more for performance. Google may use Samsung's 4nm process to make these chipsets.
