Google is gearing up to host the Google I/O 2024 in a few hours today. Ahead of the event, a new report claims to have revealed the first look of the Pixel 9 series devices about five months before a possible release. According to Rozetked, the series may include four models: Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Fold.

However, the names of the 'XL' and 'Fold' are not confirmed, the report said. While the Pixel 9 could offer 12GB RAM, the 9 Pro and the 9 Pro XL may get 16GB RAM and 128GB storage. The Pixel 9's screen may measure 6.24 inches, the Pixel 9 Pro could have a 6.34-inch display, and the Pixel 9 Pro XL will likely have a 6.73-inch screen.

Reportedly, the base and Pixel 9 Pro may have the same size. However, the bezels on the screen could be more on Pixel 9. All the models in the lineup could get an AMOLED display with a 120Hz screen and likely run on Tensor G4. The Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL may offer a 50MP primary and a 5X zoom lens. These models may also get an Ultra-Wideband.

As for the design, the rear will likely skip the edge-to-edge camera island seen on the Pixel 7 and Pixel 8 series and have a flat back and front. The sides may be completely flat. The 'Pro' iterations may have a matte finish and a glossy frame. Pixel 9 will likely get a glossy back and a matte frame.

The report noted that some of these flagships could be teased at Google I/O 2024. For context, Google usually launches its Pixel flagships in October every year. Last year, the company introduced two premium devices: Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.
