Google Pixel 10 Leaks: It has been a while since we have witnessed rumours surrounding the Pixel 9 series. Scaling up this leaks contest, a new report from Android Authority claims to have leaked a key detail concerning the Tensor chipset, which may power the Pixel 10 series. While Google develop Tensor chips in partnership with Samsung, the chips have faced issues with thermals and efficiency since its introduction in 2021.
According to Android Authority, the situation could change in 2025 as Google may partner with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) to make the Tensor G5 chipset. However, the Tensor G4, which may power the Pixel 9 series, will likely be made in collaboration with Samsung and could be a minor upgrade over the Tensor G3.
The news outlet said hints of the G5 chipset was spotted in trade databases available in the public domain. This chip is reportedly codenamed "Laguna Beach", and the database mentions TSMC and InFO POP, a technology for packaging exclusive to the chip maker. The release is about 16 months away, the report noted.

Moreover, the chip may offer up to 16GB RAM. While Samsung could develop RAMs for the device, the chip production work may be moved to another entity in Taiwan. However, readers must read the details with a pinch of salt as Google has not confirmed these developments. On a related the rumour mill has leaked the details of the Pixel 9 series regularly.
Speaking of the upcoming models this year, the lineup may include four models this time. Apart from the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro, the tech giant could bring in the Pixel 9 Pro XL and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, the much-awaited upgrade to the Pixel Fold, which launched at Google I/O 2023.
