GOOGLE has finally dressed up to bring its first foldable phone - Pixel Fold, in its highly-anticipated Google I/O 2023 event. While the Pixel Fold was subject to a wide range of leaks in the past, we can finally confirm that we will get to see the tech giant's first foldable phone on May 10.

The search giant shared the update on Twitter with the text, "May The Fold Be With You," and the date of the I/O event. It was a planned move, as May 4 is Star Wars Day (an unofficial holiday worldwide). The text drew inspiration from the famous phrase "May the Force Be With You," according to reports.

Besides this, a page of the Pixel Fold is live where a user can sign up for updates on the upcoming device and more stuff like tips and offers on Google Store. A point worth noting is that at the time of writing this article, the "device has not been authorized as required by the rules of the Federal Communications Commission or other regulators," Google said. We will have to wait for the "legal authorizations" to ensure the handset is available to the audience.
