GTA 6 Update: The biggest hype in the gaming industry right now is Rockstar's GTA 6, although fans were a bit disappointed when the game maker dropped the news that GTA 6 will be delayed by a YEAR! and will finally launch in May next year, given there are no major hiccups. Yet it has not stopped its fans from scavenging every corner of the internet to find out more about it, and neither has the excitement died. I guess this is given, as this would be the biggest game launch of this decade.

So let's take a look at some of the most used and classic cheat codes of all time.

Spawn a Tank

As of now, Rockstar has given us two trailers and some in-game screenshots that give us a sneak peek into the world that we all are so excited to jump into. We have a few character details and what looks like actual in-game footage from the second trailer, but there are some things that we gamers really hope that GTA brings with it this time, and one of those things is cheat codes. GTA wouldn't be the same without it, and here are a few classics that we would love to see in the game this time, to feel like a god again.

Pedestrian Riot Mode

Remember turning a peaceful street into a full-on battlefield? The Pedestrian Riot cheat transformed every NPC into a deranged maniac. Suddenly, the entire city was at war. Just imagine the chaos this could unleash in GTA 6’s bustling markets or sun-soaked boardwalks. Pure, unfiltered anarchy—and we need it back.

Lower Wanted Level

Just wiped out half of Vice City with a single RPG shot, and now the cops are all over you? The classic “lose wanted level” cheat was a lifesaver when things got out of hand. With GTA 6 reportedly having a more intense police system, this cheat could become essential again. Give us that escape hatch, Rockstar.

Spawn a Tank

No time to grind for firepower? No problem. In previous games, spawning a Rhino tank with a quick code turned you into an unstoppable force. Forget stealth or strategy—sometimes you just want to blow stuff up. If GTA 6 includes heavy armour, this cheat better be locked and loaded.

Change Weather

Whether you wanted clear skies or a thunderstorm mid-heist, the weather cheat gave you total control over the atmosphere. In GTA 6’s rumoured landscape of beaches, swamps, and mountains, being able to switch up the mood would be a game-changer. Who doesn’t want to summon a hurricane just for fun?

Super Jump

Defying gravity has never been more fun. The Super Jump cheat lets you soar over traffic, bounce off walls, and ragdoll through the city like a human pinball. With GTA 6 offering a larger and more vertical world, this one could take exploration—and hilarious accidents—to the next level.

Moon Gravity

Physics? What physics? Moon Gravity made every jump floaty and every car crash ridiculously cinematic. Launching off-ramps felt like slow-motion madness. It made even the most routine chaos feel surreal—and now that we’re headed into next-gen territory, Rockstar could really dial it up.

Now even though the game is all about realism and making it look and feel like real life, let's be honest: who doesn't like playing god once in a while, right? Cheat codes have been an essential part of the GTA ecosystem, and I still remember summoning a jet or a rocket jet pack for myself and just creating complete chaos; these are some of my core memories. As of now nothing has yet been laid out by Rockstar regarding this, but I really hope we get to see some of the classics make their way into the game this time as well.
