Threads, the viral competitor to X (formerly called Twitter) regularly gets featured in media reports for new features and declining user base. The Mark Zuckerberg-led text-based app is witnessing a tough time retaining its audience that steeped at launch but started exiting due to the lack of features when compared to Elon Musk's X. In an attempt to compensate for the feature deficit, the Meta CEO added that the app would get web and proper search support in the coming weeks.

Instagram Threads: Desktop Version

If you open the official Threads website from the desktop, a QR code to download the app on your smartphone is displayed. But this will change as the web version will debut in the coming weeks, making the platform more accessible.
