iPhone 17 Pro Max: The one thing that the whole tech industry is looking forward to, including enthusiasts and fans as well as rivals, is Apple's 'Awe Dropping' event, which is destined to take place on September 9, 2025, and this is the time when leaks and rumours are in their full swing. Only recently a short video came to the fore which is now all the buzz in the industry and on social media.
This video, supposedly from the factory floor, surfaced on Weibo, a Chinese social media platform, which displays the latest and top-end flagship, the iPhone 17 Pro Max, with a completely revamped look. If the video holds true, this would be one of the biggest leaps taken by iPhones till now.

What Does the Video Show?
The 10-second clip reveals a silver phone being lifted off a production line. Unlike Apple’s usual corner bump, it carries a wide rectangular camera island with three main lenses in a triangular setup, plus smaller sensors. A tinted rear glass panel surrounding the Apple logo also stands out, a design that matches recent dummy hardware and accessory mockups, according to the New York Post.
Is the Leak Authentic?
There’s no way to confirm the video’s legitimacy. The details match earlier leaks from case makers and supply chain sources, but Apple has not commented. As the Post noted, companies sometimes use fake prototypes or decoy components to trace leaks or throw off competitors, meaning what’s seen may not represent the final product.
Possible Colours and Models
The clip displays silver and black finishes, while packaging hints at a bronze-like option. Leaks also point to Pro-exclusive shades such as orange and navy. In addition, Apple could showcase a super-slim iPhone 17 Air, expected to be just 5.5mm thick with a different camera and battery setup than the Pro line.
Other Expected Announcements
The event isn’t just about iPhones. Apple is reportedly preparing updates for its wearables, including the Apple Watch Series 11, Watch Ultra 3, and Watch SE, all expected to gain new health features and longer battery life. Pricing is still unclear, though U.S. costs may remain the same, with only a small increase for the smaller Pro model, the Post reported.
