Apple fans are now eagerly waiting for the next big thing from the Cupertino-based tech giant that they may get to witness by the fall of August or the beginning of September if Apple decides to go by its conventional launch timeline. Now the internet is not a quiet place and there have been several rumours and leaks that have been floating around the internet about the iPhone 17 Pro, one most striking rumour was a possible introduction of a dual-tone back. As exciting as it sounds, we might not get to see it.

Here's all we know about the latest leaks.

The iPhone 17 Pro will look like the 16 Pro model at least when we are talking about the front panel, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. Ever since the launch of the iPhone 12 in 2020, the design architecture for most Pro models has been quite consistent. The iPhone 13 Pro and the 14 Pro had the same look, while in the later 15 Pro model, the only change was the titanium body, before which aluminium was employed. The latest 16 Pro didn't add much either just another button for Camera Control and some new colours.

The iPhone 17 Pro — along with the rumoured iPhone 17 Air — is expected to bring the most significant design update in years. That said, don’t expect a complete overhaul. According to Gurman, the front of the device will look pretty much the same as the current model.

The most noticeable change seems to be around the rear cameras. While the iPhone 17 Pro will stick with the familiar triple-camera layout we've seen since the iPhone 11 Pro, leaks and renders suggest the camera module will now sit on a wider panel that spans across the back of the phone.

There are renders on the internet right now that showcase the supposed upcoming iPhone 17 with a dual-tone look, but Gurman urges that those images are misleading. Instead, the back panel of the iPhone 17 Pro will likely feature a single colour tone and not a two-tone look.
