Lava has quietly added a new budget smartphone to its lineup in India, called the Lava Bold N2 Pro. It’s clearly aimed at users who just want a reliable, affordable device without getting into complicated specs or high prices. At ₹7,999, the phone sits firmly in the entry-level category, and it will go on sale for the first time on Flipkart starting April 6 at 12 noon.
What stands out right away is the display. The Bold N2 Pro comes with a large 6.75-inch HD+ screen, which should feel spacious for watching videos or just scrolling through apps. Interestingly, Lava is also offering a 120Hz refresh rate here. That’s not something you usually expect at this price, and in day-to-day use, it should make things like scrolling feel a bit smoother.
On the performance side, the phone runs on the UNISOC T7250 processor. It’s paired with 4GB of RAM, and Lava is also adding 4GB of virtual RAM on top of that. So, for basic multitasking like switching between apps or handling everyday tasks, it should manage without much trouble. You also get 128GB of storage, which is more than enough for most users in this segment.
For cameras, Lava is keeping things simple. There’s a 50MP AI camera on the back for regular photos, while the front gets an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls. It’s not trying to be a camera-focused phone, but it should get the job done for casual use.

Battery life looks solid on paper too. The device packs a 5000mAh battery, which should comfortably last a full day with normal usage. Charging is handled via a Type-C port, and it supports both 10W and 18W charging.
Overall, the Lava Bold N2 Pro doesn’t try too hard to impress, and that’s actually its strength. It focuses on getting the basics right, while adding small touches like a smoother display and decent storage that make everyday use feel a little better.
