The tablet market in India has witnessed some amazing announcements in recent times. While we already have the OnePlus Pad and Xiaomi Pad 6, Lenovo is gearing up to launch its latest Lenovo Tab P12 tablet in a similar price bracket in India. According to the Flipkart microsite of the device, the P12 will go on sale on September 5, 12:00 PM.

According to Flipkart, those who correctly guess the price of Tab P12 can avail of Rs 500 off. The specifications are live on the e-commerce platform.

Lenovo Tab P12 Specifications

The tablet will have a 12.7-inch 3K LTPS LCD screen with a resolution of 2944 x 1840 pixels and 1 billion colour depth. It will have a touch sampling rate of 240Hz and a contrast ratio of 1500:1. The tablet may weigh 630g and have a thickness of 6.9mm.

For an immersive audio experience, the tablet will have four Dolby Atmos JBL speakers and dual mics. Under the hood, the device would sport a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The storage will be expandable up to 1TB via the microSD slot. It will run on Android 13 and have a fingerprint reader for security.

A 10,200mAh battery with up to 10 hours of video playback support may be available on the device. Moving to connectivity, the tablet sports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1 and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. As for the sensors, the P12 has an accelerometer (G), ambient light, gyroscope, hall and RGB sensor besides e-compass.

The manufacturer is offering a standard one-year warranty and Lenovo Accidental Damage Protection One with the tablet.

Lenovo Tab P12 Price Expectations

Going by the question in the 'Play and Win' contest, Lenovo Tab P12 will likely sit between the Rs 30,000 to 40,000 bracket. It will debut in two dual-tone colour shades: grey and silver. You can buy the device from Flipkart on September 5, 2023.
