Since ChatGPT came on the scene to invade the AI space with its groundbreaking capabilities, it has been used for different tasks by creative users. From officiating weddings to getting tricked into tough examinations, the model has made mixed headlines at regular intervals. In the latest move, the language model crafted what can arguably be called just the perfect apology from an apologetic husband to his wife.
The user shared the conversation on the social media platform Reddit, where he wrote: "Why's GPT a better husband than I am?" He shared the remedy proposed by the language model to apologise to his wife on an uninformed outing with the boys. While ChatGPT declined to apologise on the husband's behalf, it shared a "possible" apology.

Here's What ChatGPT wrote:
"Sweetheart, I'm sorry for not telling you that I was going out with the boys. I should have communicated with you before making any plans. I understand that it must have made you feel neglected and disrespected, and for that, I apologise. I promise to be more considerate of your feelings and to communicate better in the future. Please forgive me," ChatGPT articulated.
Going a notch forward, the user also requested a short text message in case the wife does not reply to this message. Responding to the request, the language model told the user to give her "some space" and wait for some time. However, it did give him an option.

"Hey, just wanted to check in and see how you're doing. Let me know if you need anything or if there's anything I can do to help. Love you," the model returned.
The post has garnered over 9,000 upvotes at the time of filing and some interesting comments. A user added that the model is about to steal his wife and raise his kids. Another user labelled the model as: "every husband's best personal assistant." On the other hand, a camp of users was critical of the use of the model to mimic intimate relationships.
For context, OpenAI's ChatGPT was launched last year and is powered by GPT-4. The model became world-famous because of its conversational style of responding to user queries.
