Microsoft Outage Today: Microsoft services including Microsoft Store, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Azure and more along with Microsoft Windows faced a service disruption in India and parts of the globe which has ben fixed now. According to reports, affected users are getting a blue screen, which usually appears when the Windows system crashes.

Popularly called the blue screen of death (BSOD), the error screen appears when a Windows PC fails to boot the OS. This issue came to light after a major outage on Xbox in the United States with over 7,800 reports. Responding to the disruption in services on Microsoft 365, the company posted an update on X (formerly called Twitter) and said the affected services are witnessing improvements.

"Multiple services are continuing to see improvements in availability as our mitigation actions progress," @MSFT365Status said. As per the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, "users may be unable to access various Microsoft 365 apps and services" during the affected period. According to Downdetector, an outage monitoring platform, the disruption on Microsoft Store, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 and more services peaked at around 11:40 AM in India.

In the US, services of Xbox, Microsoft Store, Microsoft 365 and more witnessed a disruption today between 04:00 AM -06:00 AM IST. The instance has affected many American Airlines and disrupted communication services across nations. This has also affected the services of banks and the stock exchange. According to Downdetector, around 780 outage reports were reported on the Microsoft Store in India.

Microsoft 365 Outage Update: 10:10 PM IST

Microsoft 365 Status posted that the issue has been mitigated after a close review. "After an extended period of monitoring, we've determined that the issue is mitigated, and all previously impacted Microsoft 365 apps and service have recovered,"@MSFT365Status said.
