Microsoft Windows Outage News: After the CrowdStrike update, thousands of Windows users are complaining about the blue screen of death or Windows blue screen appearing and systems crashing. The Windows devices are going into Recovery mode and showing a blue screen with an error message.

This Blue Screen of Death has been affecting offices, airports, media houses, companies and even emergency services.

The BSOD or Blue screen of death error is causing abrupt restarts. The blue screen appears on the screen and the laptop restraining is happening to those who had installed the update. As per the official, the situation arises when the system gets serious problems. These errors can be caused by software or hardware-related issues.

In this case, the Crowdstrike update has caused the Microsoft global outage, which was rolled out on Friday. The statement on its support page states the team is working on the issues.

The users are advised to remove recent hardware, update the windows or use the Blue Screen Troubleshooter. 1. To fix the Blue Screen error, you should boot your Windows into safe mode or Windows recovery environment.

2) Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\CrowdStrike directory

3) Find the file with the name “C-00000291*.sys" and delete it

4) Boot your windows normally
