Pre-Reservations Go Live, Global Rollout Begins

Motorola has officially opened pre-reservations for the Moto Razr Fold via Lenovo’s online store in China. The foldable is listed in Pearl White and Gentleman’s Black colour options and comes in a single high-end variant with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage.

At the same time, the company has also teased its arrival in the UK. Orders for this model should be made starting April 10, with buyers receiving the Moto Pen Ultra in combination with the gadget. There is also going to be a special limited edition of the IFA World Cup 26 Collection by Motorola that is going to have football design elements incorporated into it.

Big Displays And Flagship Hardware

The Moto Razr Fold goes all in on the display experience. On the outside, you get a 6.6-inch LTPO pOLED cover screen, while unfolding the device reveals a large 8.1-inch LTPO pOLED inner display. This makes it Motorola’s first proper book-style foldable, designed for users who want a tablet-like experience in their pocket.

Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. So this isn’t just about form factor; it’s built to deliver flagship-level performance as well.

Cameras That Mean Business

Also, Motorola is treating cameras seriously in this phone. This phone comes with triple cameras on the backside, the main being the Sony LYTIA 50 megapixels. There is also a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto and another 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera.
For selfies and video calls, there’s a 32-megapixel camera on the cover display and a 20-megapixel sensor on the inner screen.

Battery, Charging And Build

Keeping everything running is a 6,000mAh battery, which is quite large for a foldable. It offers 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, ensuring that charging your device would not be much of a problem.

In terms of build quality, the Moto Razr Fold has a rating of IP49, which ensures its safety from any dust or water ingress.

Pricing and Availability

Motorola has also revealed the price of this new folding smartphone in the UK market. The Moto Razr Fold will retail at EUR 1,999 (around Rs. 2.14 lakh) along with the Moto Pen Ultra. The phone will be available in select global markets, including Europe, North America, Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific.
