JE Technology Desk: Motorola launched the Motorola Razr 40 and 40 Ultra in China recently. Soon after the release, the company revealed that the Razr 40 Ultra would debut in India soon. In the latest update, the clamshell phone has appeared on a microsite on the Amazon website with the official specifications.
Motorola Razr 40 Ultra Specs
According to the microsite, the Razr 40 Ultra will have the "world's largest" cover display and be the "slimmest flip" smartphone to date. The outer screen on the smartphone will measure 3.6 inches. It will have a pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1056x1066. The screen will be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.
This outer panel will come with customisable shortcuts and multiple app support. In the images shared on Amazon, music controls, Google Maps navigation, app notifications, weather widget and more are visible. On the inside, it will have a 6.9-inch LTPO screen with 165Hz refresh rate. The display would be capable enough to produce one billion plus colours and will have a peak brightness of up to 1400 nits. It will be HDR 10+ compliant and have SGS Eye Protection.
Moto Razr 40 Ultra will come with a premium "touch and feel," the company claims. The Amazon product page highlights that the entire specifications of the Razr 40 Ultra will be revealed on June 22. The company is yet to confirm the availability of the Razr 40, the lighter sibling of the phone, in India.
As for the Chinese variant, the Razr 40 Ultra has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip and a 12MP + 13MP ultra-wide sensor that can also act as a macro lens on the back.
Moto Razr 40 Ultra Expected Price
The phone might debut in the sub-Rs 80,000 price category in India. Speaking of other updates in the foldable phone, Samsung will announce the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 smartphone in July. Tecno and OPPO already have their latest foldable competitors in India.
