Samsung Galaxy A08 Specifications
The Galaxy A08 has a 6.7-inch HD+ PLS LCD display, with the panel running at a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by MediaTek's Helio G99+ chipset and comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
For those who need more space, the storage can be expanded using a microSD card, with support for cards of up to 2TB. Samsung has also included Knox security, which is designed to protect sensitive information such as passwords and biometric data.
The software is another area where Samsung is putting some emphasis. The Galaxy A08 ships with Android 16-based One UI 9 and is promised six generations of OS upgrades. Samsung is also committing to six years of security updates for the handset.
The phone gets a selection of Samsung's newer AI and search-related features as well. Circle to Search 3.0 is supported, while Gemini and Perplexity can be used through voice commands or by holding down the power button. Samsung's Quick Share and Modes and Routines features are also included.
Galaxy A08 Camera and Battery
There are two cameras on the back of the Galaxy A08. The main camera uses a 50-megapixel sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, while a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture sits alongside it. For selfies and video calls, the phone has an 8-megapixel front camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

Battery capacity is one of the phone's bigger talking points. Samsung Galaxy A08 comes with a 6,000mAh battery and also has support for 25W fast charging with it.
However having a large battery does not increase its thickness and it still stands at 8mm. The front is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, and Samsung has given the handset an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
