NOTHING, a London-based tech company, is all dressed up to launch the second iteration of the Nothing Phone (1) - the Phone (2) later this year. While CEO Carl Pei recently announced that the upcoming smartphone would debut with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, the brand has revealed more details about the display, battery and more of the Phone (2).

The company iterated on Twitter that the handset will have an aluminium frame. For a more detailed look, here are all the confirmed specifications of the upcoming mobile.

The phone maker has announced the screen of the Phone (2) will be 0.15 inches bigger than its predecessor. This implies the handset will have a 6.7-inch display. On the expected lines, it will have an OLED panel with a high refresh rate.

Under the hood, Pei has already confirmed that the smartphone will have a 4nm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, an upgrade from the Snapdragon 778G+ on the previous model. The CPU will bring 2x faster app opening, improved battery, cameras, network and more.

The company confirmed that the handset's battery will be upscaled by 200mAh. This means it will have a 4700mAh battery, unlike the 4500mAh on the Phone (1).

Further, in the Twitter thread, Nothing promised that the OS on Phone (2) would get Android updates for three years and security patches for four years.

Additionally, the company added that the upcoming handset has three times more "recycled or bio-based parts." Moreover, the Phone (2) will come in "plastic-free packaging." Lastly, coming to the camera capabilities, the Phone (2) will have Raw HDR support and 4K 60FPS recording.

Other details with respect to software, cameras, charging technology, and more are yet to be revealed from the official channels.

Meanwhile, the Phone (2) is listed on Flipkart in a microsite, indicative of an India launch soon. The handset will probably debut in India next month. It could be priced in the sub-Rs 40-45,000 price category.
