NOTHING Phone (2) is among the highly hyped phones of 2023. While we have scant details via the rumour mill about its launch, Nothing has finally confirmed that the next iteration of the Phone (1) will debut this year.

The London-based tech company headed by Carl Pei on Twitter shared a glimpse of the upcoming Phone (2). Nothing highlighted that the handset will debut in the summer of 2023. As per reports, the company will announce the handset in "British Summer". But the exact timeline is yet to be revealed. News outlet Gadgets360 speculates that it could launch somewhere between June and September.

Nothing Phone (2) first look

Besides confirming the debut on Wednesday, the company shared a GIF media showcasing the back side of the handset giving us a sneak peek into the Phone (2). The handset is visible with a red blinking LED. It could be an indicator for video recording similar to what is offered in the Nothing Phone (1). From the looks, it seems inspired by its predecessor. The company's first phone debuted with a transparent back housing that was among its key highlight.

"Premium," Nothing wrote in the tweet. This is a hint at a price jump of the upcoming handset with significant specs upgrades. Further, a dedicated page for updates on the handset is live on the official website of Nothing India. A user can sign up to know the updates directly from Nothing.

Nothing Phone (2) Expected Specifications

Meanwhile, reports in the past hinted that the handset could debut with the Snapdragon 8 series chip. 91Mobiles speculates it may come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip.

MySmartPrice, in its report, hinted that the phone could have a 12GB RAM variant. Speaking of internal storage, it could have a 256GB ROM option. To power the phone, a 5000mAh battery could be there on the handset. Rumour mill also reveals that it could have an FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED screen. The primary camera could be a 50MP shooter.

Nothing Phone (2) Expected Launch Date in India

The second generation Nothing Phone (2) could debut somewhere in July or the second half of 2023. We speculate this launch as the company announced the Nothing Phone (1) on July 12 earlier.
