JE Technology Desk: Nothing Phone (2). This smartphone has got the world excited for a long time. And soon after the launch, it has drawn massive comparison reports from other newly launched devices. But how does the smartphone compare to the classic Google Pixel 7, which sits roughly in the sub-Rs 50,000 price tag?
To find this out, here is a detailed price and specifications comparison of both devices.
Nothing Phone (2) vs Google Pixel 7: Specifications
Nothing Phone (2) offers a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED 10-bit LTPO screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness (HDR) of up to 1600 nits to a viewer. Google's counterpart sports a 6.3-inch FHD+ OLED 90Hz screen. For performance, the Nothing device has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU compared to Pixel 7's Tensor G2 chip. The Phone (2) runs on Nothing OS 2.0, and the Pixel 7 runs on Google's software which packs several exclusive features. Both devices boot on Android 13. However, Pixel users can try out the beta of Android 14.
The Nothing handset offers a 4700mAh battery that supports 45W wired and 15W wireless charging. The Pixel 7 has a 4270mAh battery with 30W charging support. It also supports wireless charging. As for the cameras, the Phone (2) ships with a 50MP primary and 50MP ultra-wide lens and the Pixel 7 sports a 50MP main and 12MP ultra-wide camera on the back. On the front, a 32MP lens sits on the Phone (2) in comparison to the 10.8MP sensor on the Pixel 7. Google's offering is IP68 certified compared to IP54 on the Phone (2).
