Nothing Headphone 1: Nothing is stepping into the over-ear headphone market for the first time, with the official launch of its Nothing Headphone 1 scheduled for July 1. While the company has kept most details under wraps, leaked renders and live images have now given us an early glimpse at what to expect — and, in true Nothing fashion, the design appears to be anything but ordinary.

Transparent Look, Retro Vibes

Shared by the Nothing Fan Blog on Instagram, the leaked images showcase a distinctive transparent design — a signature style we’ve come to associate with Nothing products. The earcups are shaped with a rectangular base and a raised oval centre, giving off a visual aesthetic that some might say resembles an old-school cassette tape.

From what can be seen, both the earcups and headband are padded for comfort. A few physical buttons are visible on the earcups — potentially for playback and volume control — along with the Nothing Headphone 1 branding etched into the casing. The headphones are shown in two colours: classic black and a white variant, though regional differences are expected.

Leaked Features and Possible Pricing

Another set of renders shared by X user @EqualLeaks reveals more about the headset’s hardware. The bottom of one earcup appears to house both a USB Type-C charging port and a 3.5mm audio jack — suggesting support for both wired and wireless listening.

As per earlier leaks, Nothing is expected to launch the headphones in black and white, though the white version may be replaced by a grey colourway in the US market. The price? Reports suggest a tag of $309 in the US (around Rs. 26,700), £299 in the UK (approximately Rs. 34,700), and €299 in parts of Europe (roughly Rs. 29,700).

Launching Alongside the Nothing Phone 3

The Nothing Headphone 1 will be unveiled on the same day as the Nothing Phone 3, which is also slated to launch on July 1. Both products are expected to be available in markets including the US and Canada.
