Samsung One UI 6 Release Date: After a series of beta iterations, South Korean smartphone maker Samsung is finally releasing stable OneUI 6 based on Android 14 for users globally. The software update bundling the October security patch is rolling out on the Samsung Galaxy S23 5G, Galaxy S23+ 5G, and Galaxy S23 Ultra 5G, according to GSMArena.
The update measures about 3GB and bundles significant changes within the quick toggles, Home screen, widgets and other improvements. Within the notification panel, the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capture the top place with elongated rectangle buttons. The brightness meter is slotted at the bottom, below the other quick action buttons.
One UI 6 offers fresh icons, revised default font and enhanced lock screen customisations. It also has a Studio player for video editing within the Gallery app. Improvements within the Camera app and revamped emojis in Samsung Keyboard are bundled in the build. Plus, changes in Samsung Health, better weather widget, improved Airplane mode and more enhancements ship with One UI 6.

One UI 6.0 Release Date In India
SamMobile reported that users who were beta testers of One UI 6.0 are getting this stable build update, which has a size of 350MB. It is rolling out in Germany, the UK, Finland, Norway, and more countries. It is also available on eligible tablets, according to Android Authority. Considering it's already rolling out, we can expect an Indian debut of the ROM in a few days or upcoming weeks.
One UI 6 Update: How To Download
Once available, you can head to Settings and look for the "Software update" menu. From here, you can check for updates and press the "Download and install" button once the update is available. Make sure to charge your device more than 50 per cent and connect to a stable and high-speed internet connection for seamless installation.
