One UI 7: The Galaxy Unpacked event unfolded recently, and Samsung came out with its next in line flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S25 Series. But that was not it, Samsung also showcased its custom Android 15-based UI skin- One UI 7. This new UI is accessible to users who buy the latest S25 Series smartphones, but for others who are still using the previous versions, there is a wait time. You can expect the One UI 7 to come out in preceding flagships the S24 Series and the S23 Series any time now and shortly it will feature in other Samsung phones as well.

This time Samsung has amped-up its game and the One UI 7 brings with itself some major AI enhancements and performance boosts to the Galaxy series smartphones.

One UI 7 is packed with some exciting new upgrades this time, with the aim to make your Samsung device more intuitive, efficient and personalised. A standout feature is the Now Brief & Now Bar, which gives you quick updates on weather, health stats, and the latest news as soon as you unlock your phone. It’s designed to keep you informed in a single glance. 

Another handy tool is the Enhanced Circle to Search, where you can take immediate actions like dialing numbers or opening emails and URLs right from your search results. AI-powered search and multitasking also make navigating your tasks a breeze, providing you with smart, context-aware recommendations as you go. 

For those who work or create on their devices, Call Transcript, Writing Assist, and Drawing Assist will help streamline communication and creativity. If you’re someone who makes videos, the new Audio Eraser feature will eliminate background noise, giving you clearer audio. 

On top of all that, Privacy Upgrades will make sure your personal data stays safe, thanks to the Personal Data Engine that processes everything on your device, keeping your information secure. The One UI 7 update will be available soon for the Galaxy S24 series, and Galaxy S23 users can expect it by mid-February. Other eligible Samsung devices will follow, though we don’t yet have an official release date.
