GTA 6 is all the buzz this year in the gaming industry and by now we have heard plenty of rumours telling us about a possible delay in its launch. With the rumours getting out of hand Take-Two Interactive decided to step in. While Rockstar has kept its release date concealed as a classified government document, it has left its fans waiting in the darkness for even the slightest clue of when they can finally get their hands on the new release. Fans up till now have mostly relied on leaks and speculations. Recently, the company announced that the key details about the GTA 6 launch date may soon become clearer.

We still have no clue when the second trailer for GTA 6 will drop, and the lack of any updates has been the reason for rampant speculation regarding its possible launch. The first trailer came out in 2023, and for obvious reasons (Well, it is the most popular game on the planet) the trailer broke all records on YouTube after its release.

But not to worry, not all is in darkness, an announcement from Rockstar Games has given some hope to its fans. Take-Two held its third-quarter earnings conference call which took place on February 6. Will You Be Able To Play It?

Now this is the time I give you some bad news, not all will be able to play GTA 6 when it launches, let's discuss why.

Those who have not yet upgraded to the latest version of PlayStation the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S, and are still gaming on the previous versions won't be able to play GTA 6. And is it all good for PC gamers? Apparently not, unless they own a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S. Why is that so? Well for this we need to keep in mind that Rockstar came out with GTA 6 trailer in 2023, and at that time it was confirmed that it is coming out on consoles namely the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. There is still no official confirmation of when the game will be released on PC.

Typically PC gamers have usually waited longer for GTA releases, and Rockstar is known to delay game launches, so let's assume at this point it is not coming to PC's any sooner than 2026, that is if we are lucky. Even During the launch of GTA 5 PC gamers had to wait for 19 more months to get their hands on the game in April 2015, while for the consoles it came out in September 2013.

So right now all the fans are waiting for an official confirmation of when Rockstar will finally drop GTA 6, with growing anticipation there are endless speculations that are surfacing, as that is what the fans are tied to for now. So stay tuned for further updates.
