OnePlus is building anticipation for the OnePlus 15, which will debut on October 27 in its home country of China, with the latest teasers concentrating on the phone’s camera skills.
Li Jie, China President of OnePlus at Weibo, made it official that the upcoming 50MP triple rear camera department will make use of Oppo’s Lumo Condensed Light Imaging Camera system and quoted it to be on roids. The periscope telephoto lens will provide 3.5x optical zoom (85mm equivalent), suitable for portrait images and long-distance subjects. The primary camera even captures 4K 120 fps Dolby video, perfect for recording high-quality content with multi-dimensional colour and contrast.

OnePlus is hyping up its “ultra-light shadow” flagship imaging engine that (as the name implies) mixes OPPO’s imaging tech with high-end processing to shoot detailed shadows, vibrant colours and realistic textures. Pro XDR, full-focal-length HD and ultra‑clear live photos are the features that take photography and videography a step higher.
The OnePlus 15 is not all about the cameras. It will feature a 7,300mAh battery, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for high-end performance and gameplay, up to a 165Hz display with variable refresh rates and better cooling for being able to sustain itself as an all-around flagship.
