With OnePlus 15 and OnePlus 15R set to launch in India on November 13, the focus is seemingly once more moving onto the slimmer variant, which could debut early next year as our move into 2026 begins. While the device has yet to be officially confirmed by OnePlus, early rumours are starting to sketch a picture of what could very well be the company’s latest compact powerhouse, taking premium design, flagship performance and an uncharacteristically beefy battery for its slim thickness.

OnePlus 15s Design and Colour Options

Recent leaks suggest that the OnePlus 15s are going to have a design style similar to the OnePlus 15 series, with a sleek silhouette and minimalistic camera design. The phone is expected to have a metal frame and square module camera on the back like the OnePlus 13s, as per rumours.

I think the coolest nugget from these leaks is the inclusion of a multifunction alert slider, a classic OnePlus feature that may finally gain even more uses in the new device.

If we believe the leaked renders, the OnePlus 15s will come in three different shades — Grey, Pink and Black — to give you a combination of playful overtones and classic looks. But, it should be noted that these design elements are not confirmed and appear only due to early leaks.

OnePlus 15s Specifications (Leaked)

On the inside, it is expected that the OnePlus 15s 5G will run on Qualcomm’s newest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC to offer high-level performance and less power consumption. This chipset could see some improvements in AI-driven performance, battery enhancements and gaming levels.

Arguably the most startling rumour, though, is that Samsung will include a 7,000 mAh+ battery, a colossal leap for such a small handset. By comparison, last year’s OnePlus 13s included a big (for its size) 5,850 mAh battery contracting this upswing makes it clear OnePlus is focusing hard on endurance this time around.

The phone is also rumoured to have a 6.3-inch OLED screen that should deliver punchy visuals, inky-deep blacks, and smooth refresh rates. There’s also a possibility of an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, given there are reports that the optical model used in the Note 10 range looks to be consigned to history. Ultrasonic sensors are generally quicker and more accurate; they even can work with wet or greasy fingers.

Rumoured Specs at a Glance:

- Display: 6.3-inch OLED panel

- Processor: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

- Battery: 7,000 mAh+ (with fast charging expected)

- Build: Metal frame with square camera module

- Sensor: Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner

- Colours: Pink, Grey, Black

- Connectivity: 5G support, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 (expected)

OnePlus 15s Launch Timeline (Expected)

Industry reports suggest that the OnePlus 15s are expected to be launched several months after the main OnePlus 15 series in March or April 2026. This schedule lines up with OnePlus’s usual release cycle for its “s” models, which tend to be upgraded iterations of the flagship series.

What to Expect

If those leaks ring true, then the OnePlus 15s could become one of the most powerful small phones on the market — a phone that manages an impressive combination of slim design, extended battery life and high-end performance. The addition of a 7,000 mAh+ battery may make it an ideal choice for those who want both portability and endurance.

But, until there’s some confirmation from up top, take all these facts with a grain of salt. We can expect OnePlus to begin teasing the device early next year and for more credible leaks as we approach launch.
