ONEPLUS, the Chinese smartphone maker, is expected to enter the foldable phone market with its OnePlus Fold this year. According to reports, this could happen in the third quarter of 2023, probably in August. Amid this craze, 91Mobiles, with Yogesh Brar, leaked what could be possible specifications of the upcoming foldable phone from OnePlus.

According to the report, the phone will come with a similar design to the OPPO Find N3. Besides the looks, the specifications of the OnePlus Fold will also be the same as the OPPO device. For your information, here's what the tipster leaked on Twitter.

OnePlus Fold Expected Specifications

The foldable phone will likely have an 8-inch QHD 120Hz LTPO OLED main screen. As for the cover display, a 6.5-inch FHD 120Hz AMOLED display could be present. Under the hood, the foldable mobile could have Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip for performance. Speaking of memory, it might come with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage options.

To power the internals, the foldable handset might sport a 4,800mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. The phone could have a 50MP + 48MP + 32MP rear camera setup. On the front, a 32MP selfie shooter will likely be present on both displays.

On a related note, speculations are rife that the smartphone company could also bring the OnePlus V Flip phone catering to the 'Flip' territory.

Meanwhile, moving to the foldable industry in general, Samsung rules the charts with its Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 smartphones. Samsung could reportedly unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 handsets in July 2023. Search giant Google recently announced the Pixel Fold smartphone at its annual I/O event. The phone drew massive media attention because it marked Google's official entry into the foldable world. It did not debut in India.

Another company, Tecno, has the Phantom V Fold 5G handset in the market in India. It is the most affordable book-style foldable phone in India. The Phantom V Fold 5G is priced under Rs 1 lakh. Lastly, OPPO Find N2 Flip, a clamshell form factor phone, is also available in India.
