The company has also confirmed that the phone will get AI image editing features, enhanced storage and other security features. However, the company has not confirmed the details about the OnePlus Open Apex Edition.

The OnePlus Open Apex Edition will come with Android 14-based skin out-of-the-box and it will reportedly get 3 years of OS upgrades. The standard variant gets 4 years of OS upgrade but it could be because of the device shipped with Android 13, 91mobiles reported.

OnePlus Open Apex could launch at Rs 1,39,999 for the single 16GB+512GB variant. However, the company has yet to reveal the price and specifications of the device. The standard OnePlus Open is currently available at Rs 1,19,000 including the bank discounts.
