ChatGPT, the viral language model that earns a place in media reports almost every day, is bracing for fresh improvements as OpenAI has shared a list of updates that will be live in the coming weeks. Out of the total six features, two will be exclusive to Plus subscribers.
Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), the research company said the model will now suggest prompts to aid conversations and generate better output. For a detailed look, here are the six new features that will debut on ChatGPT.
Prompt Examples and Suggested Replies
In the new scheme, ChatGPT will now suggest input prompts to users, which they can use to start a conversation. This feature aims to eliminate the lack of thoughts in the beginning. Once the conversation begins, the model will suggest ways in which you can continue them for better output.
GPT-4 By Default
For Plus users, the model will not switch back to GPT-3.5 in case of new chats (if the default pick is GPT-4), which was the case earlier. If a user selects GPT-4, the model will stick to the choice in all future conversations.
Multiple file uploads
ChatGPT Plus subscribers can upload multiple files to analyse data and gain insights. It will be available via Code Interpreter beta.

No log out after two weeks
Unlike the present scenario where a user is logged out after two weeks, the new update will solve this problem of repeated log-in. "When you do need to log in, you'll be greeted with a much more welcoming page," OpenAI said in an X.
New Keyboard shortcuts
Users can copy the last block of code with "Ctrl + Shift +;". "Try ⌘ (Ctrl) + / to see the complete list."
On a related note, the Plus subscription for ChatGPT was launched in March in India for $20/month (roughly Rs 1,650).
