JE Technology Desk: ChatGPT has got the world excited since its launch because of its conversation-style answers powered by artificial intelligence. The massive user base has led to a rise in cases of cyberattacks targeting the AI model. Group-IB, a cybersecurity solutions provider, revealed shocking facts in a recent report on the compromised ChatGPT accounts that surfaced on dark web marketplaces.

The report highlights that ChatGPT remembers activity history by default and is used for varied purposes, including software codes, business works and more. As a result, the account activity of these accounts, including the sensitive and confidential details, was exposed to these hackers. As these accounts are popular in underground communities, the information may be used for attacks in the future on concerned companies and individuals.
The platform stores a vast library of data available on the dark web and monitors cybercrime forums to look for compromised information and help companies mitigate the losses of these attacks. A majority of these accounts were breached by Raccoon, which the company claims is an infamous info stealer.
