POCO F6 5G vs Realme GT 6T 5G: POCO and Realme have announced their new performance-focused mid-range contenders in India. While Realme announced the Realme GT 6T 5G with a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, POCO introduced the POCO F6 with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. Beyond the processors, these smartphones pack competitive specifications in other departments too.

To give you a better idea, here is a comparison of the specifications and prices of both phones.

Realme GT 6T vs POCO F6: Specifications

Display: POCO F6 sports a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED 120Hz 12-bit screen with Gorilla Glass Victus protection and Dolby Vision. On the other hand, the Realme GT 6T sports a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED 10-bit 120Hz LTPO screen with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. While POCO offers 2,400nits peak brightness, Realme can scale its brightness up to 6,000nits.

Performance and Software: While the F6 sports a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, the GT 6T sports a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset. POCO ships with Xiaomi HyperOS compared to GT 6T's Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14.

Battery: POCO's latest model gets a 5,000mAh battery with 90W charging compared to GT 6T's bigger 5,500mAh battery with faster 120W SUPERVOOC charging. Both offer a USB Type-C port and a charging adapter in the box.

Camera: The F6 sports a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary main and an 8MP IMX355 ultrawide sensor on the rear. Realme's latest GT device gets a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary and an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultrawide rear camera. Coming to selfies, while POCO offers a 20MP OV20B front camera, the GT 6T has a 32MP Sony IMX615 selfie lens.

From a quick look at the specifications, it is clear that POCO will offer better gaming and raw performance. However, Realme outperforms the F6 with a better display (provided you are okay with a curved screen), good software, a bigger battery and faster charging.
