Realme 12 Pro Plus vs Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus: Realme has launched the Realme 12 Pro+ 5G smartphone in India, which is set to take on the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G. Both the handsets from the Chinese smartphone manufacturers sit in the sub-Rs 30,000-35,000 price bracket and are esteemed rivals in terms of features and price. For starters, while the Realme 12 Pro+ advertises its periscope lens and a premium design, Redmi flaunts its IP68 rating and faster charging in this price range.

Realme 12 Pro Plus vs Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus: Specifications

Display: Realme 12 Pro+ sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz curved AMOLED screen with Double-Reinforced Glass protection and up to 950nits peak brightness. The Note 13 Pro+ has a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED 120Hz curved screen with 1,800nits peak brightness and Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

Processor: The Realme handset gets a 4nm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 CPU and Adreno 710 GPU. The Redmi's midrange device has a 4nm Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset with Mali G610 MC4 GPU.

Software: The 12 Pro+ 5G runs on Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14. The 13 Pro+ runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 13 with assured three Android and four years of security patches.

Camera: The latest Realme device gets a 50MP OIS + 8MP ultrawide + 64MP 3X periscope lens on the rear and a 32MP selfie lens. On the other hand, the Note 13 Pro+ sports a 200MP OIS, 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro lens on the rear and a 16MP selfie camera.

Battery: Realme's new device sports a 5,000mAh battery with 67W charging. On the other hand, the new Note sports a 5,000mAh battery with 120W charging.

As for the extras, the Note 13 Pro+ sports an IP68 rating, NFC and heart rate detection using its in-display fingerprint reader. As for Realme, it offers the latest Android out of the box and an exclusive zoom lens.
