Poco F7 5G Launched in India: Poco has officially launched the Poco F7 5G in India, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most compelling mid-range phones this year. Starting July 1, it will be available in two configurations: 12GB + 256GB at ₹31,999 and 12GB + 512GB at ₹33,999, exclusively via Flipkart and Poco’s official store.
First in the World With Snapdragon 8s Gen 4
Under the hood, the Poco F7 5G packs Qualcomm’s brand-new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, built on a 4nm process. It’s the first phone globally to feature this chip in the mid-range segment. The performance is impressive—Poco claims an AnTuTu score of over 2.1 million, placing it among the fastest in its class. To keep things cool during heavy gaming, Poco has added a dual-loop IceLoop cooling system and its proprietary Rage Engine 4.0 for optimised sustained performance.

Visuals That Pop and a Body That Endures
The Poco F7 sports a large 6.83-inch pOLED display with a sharp 1.5K resolution (2800×1280), a 120 Hz refresh rate, and up to 3,200 nits of peak brightness. Dolby Vision support, 3,840 Hz PWM dimming, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection add to the premium feel. It also offers wet-touch support and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Design-wise, the F7 doesn’t cut corners. It’s sleek at 7.98 mm thin, has a solid aluminium frame, and boasts top-tier IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings. That means it’s resistant to dust, splashes, and even immersion in water up to 2 metres for 30 minutes.
Monster Battery With Reverse Charging
Battery life is another major win. The Poco F7 5G features a massive 7,550 mAh battery—one of the biggest on any smartphone sold in India. It supports 90W wired fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging, so you can juice up other gadgets on the go. Poco claims the battery will maintain 80% health even after 1,600 charge cycles, hinting at serious longevity.
Cameras, Connectivity, and Software
The camera setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor with OIS and EIS, capable of recording 4K at 60fps. There’s also an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 20MP front-facing shooter from OmniVision for selfies and video calls.
Running on HyperOS 2 based on Android 15, the F7 comes with the promise of four major Android updates and six years of security patches. You also get 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM (with virtual RAM expansion), UFS 4.1 storage, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, NFC, an IR blaster, and full dual 5G support.
Launch Offers and Market Position
Buyers can snag ₹2,000 off through ICICI, HDFC, and SBI cards or opt for exchange offers. Additional launch perks include a 12-month no-cost EMI option, free screen replacement for a year, and an extra year of warranty coverage.

Final Take
With its top-tier specs, robust build, and long-term software support, the Poco F7 5G is clearly aimed at users who want flagship-level performance without stretching their budget. As it goes up against rivals like the OnePlus 13R and Vivo X200 FE, its real-world performance and battery endurance will decide whether it truly earns the “flagship killer” badge. For now, it’s a strong contender in the ever-heating mid-range market.
