POCO, a Chinese smartphone maker, is all set to launch the POCO M6 Pro 5G smartphone in India. The device has been teased by Himanshu Tandon, Country Head of POCO India on X, formerly called Twitter. The upcoming handset is visible in an aqua shade with a dual camera module and a flash. The 'POCO' branding sits at the top right at the back of the phone.

As for the physical appearance, it would sport flat sides and a SIM card tray on the left side of the frame. The latest 'M' series is expected to sit in the sub-Rs 15,000 price category.

The head has been teasing the phone for a while now. In a previous X, he said: "POCO '5' Series had - C50, C51, C55, M5, X5, X5 Pro and F5 which gave us tremendous growth in the first half of this year. It's time to move to the '6' series now!" And today, he said in an X post: "Ready to disrupt the 5G game!"

According to tipster Kacper Skrzypek, the POCO M6 Pro will be the rebranded version of the Redmi 12R, which has already launched in China. Considering this, here is a specifications overview of the handset.

POCO M6 Pro 5G Expected Specifications

The smartphone may sport a 6.79-inch LCD screen with a refresh rate of up to 90Hz. Under the hood, the device could have a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor. It could have a 5000mAh battery with 18W charging. As for the optics, it might get a 50MP primary lens and 2MP tertiary lens with a 5MP front camera.

On a related note, the company also unveiled the POCO F5 smartphone in the mid-range category in May. Coming to the latest updates, the tech giant recently unveiled the POCO Pods TWS with 12mm drivers, 60ms low latency, ENC, Bluetooth 5.3, up to 30 hours of battery life and an IPX4 rating.
